Past Track: historical vessel tracking

This service allows you to see a view of a vessel’s location over the last 24-hours. Using Google Earth and our Earth VTS managed services, you’ll see:

  • A visual 3D report showing a breadcrumb trail view
  • The vessel’s locations during the last 24-hours
  • Selectable per vessel
  • Selectable between 12- and 24-hour time periods

What you’ll need for Past Track

The Earth VTS service uses a standard Google Earth application, so you will need a copy of this installed on your computer. You’ll also need:

  • An AIS unit installed on each vessel to be monitored
  • An internet connection
  • A single username/login—to use for one concurrent session at a time
  • A minimum one year contract term
  • To purchase additional/portable licenses if you require additional user access
